¹⁹ O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way and watch! Ask him who flees and her who escapes, What has happened?

²⁰ Moab is put to shame, for she is broken down. Wail and cry out! Tell by [the banks of] the Arnon that Moab is laid waste (destroyed).
